Forbes’ recognizes two Marriott brands as two of “America’s Best Franchises”
Two of Marriott International, Inc.’s fastest growing brands have been recognized by Forbes as “America’s Best Franchises to Buy in 2016”. Landing in the top 10 of a selection of more than 3,300 active franchise brands, SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites are also the two highest ranking hotel and lodging brands in Forbes’ “high investment level”. Forbes Media suggests that the best franchisors will support owners with strong brands, innovative products and creative marketing.
“We’re honored to be recognized by Forbes, as we strive to offer inspiring, dynamic, and diverse hotel brands that perform well and yield great returns for our owners and franchisees. That is what our business is all about.” said Loren Nalewanski, Vice President and Global Brand Manager for SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites. “At Marriott, we truly value the relationship and trust we have with our franchisees, and believe that by pouring our heart and soul into the development of amazing brands, we are able to create a compelling product for our guests.”
This year’s list is the third annual ranking of best and worst franchises in America. To determine an accurate ranking, Forbes Media uses FRANdata on system sustainability, system demand, franchisor support, franchisor stability and value for investment to analyze five-year growth rates and five-year continuity rates, a measure of how often an individual franchise has changed hands, among other factors, to make its determination.
