Royal Caribbean has partnered with Coca Cola to introduce Freestyle soda machines offering 125 different flavours of Coke products across their fleet.
Majesty of the Seas was the first ship to have the machines installed last month with the roll out slated for completion by the end of 2013.
Cruise Industry News reports that the partnership commenced three years ago with changes required for the machines to work onboard the ships including health code modifications for a marine environment and the addition of a RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) for use with souvenir cups.
The RFID allows each souvenir cup to be registered for the voyage it has been purchased on as part of a soda beverage package and will automatically expire on disembarkation.
