United Airlines today announced the results of its U.S. ski incentive for Australian and New Zealand travel agents, organized in partnership with ski resorts in California, Colorado and Wyoming. Ski wholesalers and retailers in the two countries submitted a total of 84 entries during the program, which ran from August 1 to September 30, 2013.
The top 10 performers won a trip to either Colorado or California and Wyoming in February 2014 and will be flying United to several popular ski resorts– Aspen, Jackson Hole, Steamboat, Squaw Valley and Vail.
Throughout the incentive there was great support from participating agents, with a standout performance from Travelplan, who had three agents finishing in the top 10.
Alison Espley, United’s director of sales for Australia and New Zealand, said: “We thank participating agents for their efforts. This incentive is the first of its kind and we’re delighted with the results. United is offering skiers even more options to head to the slopes this ski season, with services to nearly 20 ski destinations throughout North America. We wish the winning agents a fantastic trip!”
Agents from the following travel agencies participated in the incentive: Travelplan, Snowcapped Tours; Skimax; Sno’n’Ski; Travel Specialists (Mosman); McGann Travel (Taren Point); Wotif Group; Travelscene (Tweed City) ; Dive Fish Snow Travel (Auckland); Travelbookers; and Itineraries (Brisbane).
Among the top performers were consultants from Travelplan Ski, Snowcapped Tours, Skimax, Sno’n’Ski, McGann Travel Taren Point, Travel Specialists Mosman and travel.com.au
