The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has accused striking British Airways cabin crew of being "divorced from reality."
IATA lashed out at the BA staff of the struggling carrier after recent figures revealed the overall commercial damage done by Iceland’s ash cloud.
"This mentality is divorced from reality," Bisignani added.
IATA also said the labour unrest plaguing Europe this year was "unbelievable".
IATA CEO Giovanni Bisignani shared his opinion about the actions of Unite, the BA cabin workers union.
"It’s a tough competitive world. Workforce paycheques are supported by the performance of this company. The middle of a fragile recovery is not the time for striking."
