Royal Brunei Airlines offers 11 flights to a week from Australia to Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital city of Brunei, and beyond. Perth has 5 weekly flights on their Airbus 320 & 319 aircraft while Brisbane operates six times a week on the Boeing 767 retrofitted aircraft.
On 28 March 2010, Royal Brunei Airlines will operate five-times weekly direct flights from Auckland to Brunei. Aside from an array of complimentary refreshments, new facilities include massage chairs, shower rooms, prayer and ablution areas for Muslim passengers and large plasma screen televisions. Business travellers have the option of catching up on some work at the provided workstations, which offers free internet access. In March 2004, the airline introduced its SkyDreamer sleeper seats in its retrofitted B767 Business Class cabins. The SkyDreamer seats offer maximum comfort as they extend up to 75 inches when fully reclined. The podded seat feature and a personal pull-up screen provide extra privacy. Each seat comes equipped with power outlet for laptops and a 10.4 inch personal TV. New Economy Class seats featuring 8.4-inch personal TVs have also been installed.
