QT Melbourne and Perrier-Jouët launch the ‘Art of the Wild’

QT Melbourne, the leading design hotel in the hipster capital of Australia, has announced its latest partnership with the legendary Champagne house Perrier-Jouët. The recently finished King private dining room at QT Melbourne will showcase a culinary and Champagne experience designed by Executive Chef Andy Harmer, bringing to life Perrier-Jouët’s Art of the Wild vision.

The King will be transformed into a multi-sensory vibrant garden blooming in green, purple and pink neon hues with graphics inspired by anemone flowers projected throughout the room. This anemone motif, which was originally designed in 1902 by Emile Callé, can also be found adorning the bottles from the Perrier-Jouët Epoque collection.

Complementing the decor, the team from QT Melbourne‘s restaurant Pascale has created a five-course menu paired with five of Perrier-Jouët’s intricate floral Champagnes, including the Belle Epoque 2012, the Belle Epoque Rosé 2006 and the Grand Brut NV. The pairing menu, which is priced at AUD$325 per person (approx. US$227), ties together Perrier-Jouët’s vision with Pascale’s promise of serving only the freshest seasonal local produce with minimal intervention. Highlighted dishes include Cured hiramasa kingfish with jicama, Smoked eel and osetra caviar and Sher Wagyu porterhouse with tarragon, artichoke and beets.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Perrier-Jouët to elevate the simple pleasures of entertaining at QT Melbourne,” General Manager Lee Davey says. “Our chefs are passionate about hold and native ingredients, and we are excited to create a unique multi-sensory experience that brings to life the Art of the Wild concept through the art of dining are creativity.”

Restaurant goers must be guests of the hotel.
