Evolution Travel Collective announces regional sales team
Evolution Travel Collective have just announced their inaugural sales team of Business Development Managers for Australia with Belinda Ward heading up the team as General Manager of Sales. Ward also joins the ETC leadership team with over 20 years of industry experience most recently with G Adventures, including a stint as MD, and prior to that senior management roles with both Peregrine Adventures & Flight Centre Travel Group.
Ward explained that the ‘opportunity to be part of such an amazing start-up business and work closely again with long-time industry colleague Pete Rawley was something I am incredibly excited about’
Ward will lead the team of Business Development Managers which will start with three highly experienced Travel Industry staff along the East Coast of Australia. Kate Hudson joins the team as VIC/TAS BDM, Andrew Eddy as NSW/ACT & Anji Johnson will look after the state of Queensland.
Ward will also locally manage the inside sales team of Dara Ebbott and Asha Baker for ETC partner Dragoman Overland as part of the support ETC provides within that partnership.
There will be more staff joining the team over the coming months across both Australia & NZ as the business continues to grow, with the current team dedicated to looking after the previously announced initial brands that ETC represents, including Exodus, TrekAmerica, GAA, Dragoman Overland and Crooked Compass.
Ward said, she was excited about the fact that ‘we have been able to get together such a fantastic founding team which will represent our well-respected partners in the Australian market.’ adding ‘the product range is incredible and offers an expansive product offering to travellers who are looking for something different within the small group touring sector’
Pete Rawley, CEO & Founder of ETC enthused ‘I am really looking forward to working with Belinda again and having the team altogether recently in Melbourne for the very first time only cemented my belief that we have put together an unrivalled team for a business in its infancy.’ He added ‘I’m also very excited about the opportunity to grow the company ‘together’ as this founding group will collectively determine the future direction of the ETC business’.
The team of BDMs & Belinda Ward have now all started in late January.
Evolution Travel Collective (ETC) is an innovative business with a key focus on maximising brand exposure and enquiry generation via its client and partner-focused business model.
This hybrid model is unique within Australian and New Zealand, with one of the key differentiators being enquiry is directed back to the partners own specialised reservations teams to maximise conversion opportunities and greater product expertise.
This then allows ETC to focus on using their experience in training, representation, collaboration, strategy development and relationship management to build their partners brands, rather than ETC’s, with travel retailers and their head office networks.
