The U.S. Department of Commerce reported that international visitors spent $10.3 billion on travel to, and tourism-related activities within, the United States during October. This figure represents nearly $1.6 billion less (13 percent) than the total international visitor spending spent in the United States in October last year. From January-October this year, total international visitor spending was down $18.6 billion (16 percent). |
