Record attendance at Rendez-Vous Canada 2018
Rendez-vous Canada 2018 (RVC) achieved a record attendance in Halifax, Nova Scotia, this week, with 1,875 delegates participating.
Now in its 42nd year, RVC is Canada’s premier international tourism marketplace where the international travel trade connects with Canada’s tourism professionals and discover unique Canadian experiences.
Over four days, tourism industry leaders collaborate one-on-one during efficient, pre-scheduled appointments, a powerful networking opportunity for all participants.
Trade media were invited to participate in famils taking place in various parts of the country, offering the chance to gain first-hand experience of Canada’s unique wildlife, diverse communities and outdoor adventures.
Perched on the eastern edge of North America in the province of Nova Scotia, Halifax demonstrated authentic Maritime hospitality, hosting luncheons and evening events, and providing the opportunity for delegates explore the city’s scenic harbour, lively cultural district and historic sights.
The heart of the city is perfect for exploring on foot, with treelined streets, world-class restaurants, galleries, libraries and museums framed by the vibrant waterfront.
Air Canada offers daily direct flights to Vancouver from Sydney and Brisbane, with connecting flights to Halifax. Additionally, Air Canada will commence year-round direct flights from Melbourne to Vancouver from June 2018. Direct flights from Sydney to Vancouver are also available on Qantas.
