British Airways today announces that Executive Club members can make a booking in World Traveller economy class to London with 50 percent fewer Avios. The limited-time offer is applicable for flights departing Hong Kong between January 4 and June 30, 2018, and is available for booking until December 17, 2017. Members can now book a return flight to London Heathrow from as little as 19,500 Avios instead of the usual 39,000.

Noella Ferns, British Airways’ regional general manager, Greater China and the Philippines said: “Booking reward flights with Avios has always been one of our members’ favourite ways to spend their Avios and we have made it even easier. Members can now fly to London for 50 per cent fewer Avios, and spend the Avios saved on extras like hotel stays and car hire. With this limited-time offer and long travel window, members can plan ahead for their trips to London, which they can take well into 2018.“

British Airways Executive Club members are urged to book their reward flights through www.ba.com/avios-sale. Customers will need to pay a cash amount to cover taxes, fees and carrier charges.

British Airways operates two daily direct flights between Hong Kong and London. It is the only airline to fly the Superjumbo Airbus A380 on the route. All flights arrive at the airline’s state-of-the-art home at London Heathrow Terminal 5, exclusive to customers of British Airways and its sister airline Iberia. Terminal 5 also offers stress-free onward connections to over 60 cities in Europe and in the UK.
