Fairfield by Marriott completes Largest Day of Service
Last month, Fairfield by Marriott celebrated its 30th anniversary. As part of the celebration, Fairfield by Marriott expanded its support of Habitat for Humanity by launching a national partnership to honor the brand’s 30-year history while looking forward to its future. As part of the partnership, Fairfield launched a global Habitat for Humanity build campaign with builds from New York City to Nepal, marking the largest “Rally to Serve” day in Fairfield’s 30-year history. Fairfield associates from more than 275 Fairfield properties around the world supporting their local Habitat for Humanity chapters.
Builds to spotlight include:
Kathmandu, Nepal: Fairfield by Marriott associates helped build a home for a local family in Kavre, Nepal – an area that was affected by the 2015 earthquake. Fairfield led Marriott International’s entry into the country this year with the opening of the Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu.
Atlanta: Fairfield by Marriott associates volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Atlanta, where Fairfield opened its first hotel 30 years ago.
New York: Fairfield by Marriott associates volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in New York City to help restore the Baruch Addition Community Center in honor of Fairfield’s 30th anniversary.
