Thanks to Scoot‘s recent absorption of Tigerair, there was no need to check in for this flight as the boarding pass had already been issued (at check-in for the previous connecting flight from Penang) and no luggage was being checked in.
The flight pushed back from the gate at 10:35 took off at 10:55 because of congestion in aircraft movements. The flight arrived at SYD five minutes ahead of schedule.
ScootInSilence cabin is the buffer cabin between ScootBiz and Economy Class. It is meant for people who prefer to travel in a quiet environment. Bulkhead seats in Row 6 offers a bit more legroom than the other rows in this cabin.
Food And Beverage:
Food and beverages were available for purchase throughout the flight, though meals can also be pre-ordered online at the time of booking.
Entertainment systems are available for hire, though most people seem to use their phones or tablets for entertainment.
The flight arrived five minutes ahead of schedule. The airport was busier than expected but Immigration was quick and exiting the baggage claim area was a simple matter of procedure.
Changi is one of the easiest airports in the world for departures. There is rarely an unmanageable queue at Immigration and security clearance is done at each individual gate, thereby avoiding the long lines seen at so many other airports where it is done at one central place for all flights. Overall, it was another positive Scoot experience with no unpleasant surprises.
