Jason Kycek appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing
The Edgewater, Madison’s only AAA Four Diamond rated hotel, has appointed Wisconsin native Jason Kycek as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Kycek will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing plans in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jason to our team,” noted Amy Supple, Chief Operating Officer at The Edgewater. “His strong background in the hospitality industry along with his results-oriented leadership approach will be essential to the ongoing success of The Edgewater.”
Kycek brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, for Barcelo / Occidental Hotels & Resorts. Previously, he held the top sales and marketing positions at a variety of prominent companies, including Capella Hotels, and KSL Resorts.
Kycek is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received his BA in political science and international business. Though he’s worked all over the world, Kycek is a proud Wisconsin native, which is important to this hotel that values local ties and community as much as it values its out-of-town guests. The property is making a focused effort to find employees who not only excel in their fields, but who also truly understand what makes Madison a unique and distinctive destination.
