Choice Hotels announces Canadian incentive for new members

Choice Hotels announces Canadian incentive for new loyalistsGuests staying at Choice Hotels properties across the country may be surprised to come face-to-face with a Canadian moose in the reception area. But there’s no cause for alarm – he’s very friendly… and he’s looking forward to giving away a very special prize.

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac is sending one lucky Kiwi couple on the trip of a lifetime to the Canadian Rockies. Every person who joins the group’s Choice Privileges loyalty program at any Choice hotel in New Zealand before 30 November 2016 will automatically go into the draw to win this amazing adventure, valued at over $18,000.

The Choice Privileges loyalty program already has almost 300,000 members across Australasia and it’s expected this campaign will attract many more travellers to the program.

“The Canadian Rockies is a destination that every adventurous Kiwi would love to visit in their lifetime and we look forward to making this dream a reality for one lucky couple,” says Matt Taylor, General Manager, Marketing.

This campaign is the latest chapter of many developments for the Choice Privileges rewards program this year. In February, Choice Hotels announced a raft of changes including no point expiration for active members, bonus points and rewards for midweek stays, plus greater flexibility when redeeming reward nights.

“We continue to put a strong emphasis on ensuring our program provides value and relevancy for all current and potential members,” says Taylor.

“Our members are at the heart of every decision we make, without them we don’t have a program, so we will continue to develop new initiatives and incentives that will deliver wonderful experiences like this great Canadian trip.”

The winner of the competition will take home return flights, a classic Canadian Rockies & Whistler trip on the deluxe Goldleaf Rocky Mountaineer train, two nights’ accommodation at the Comfort Inn Downtown in Vancouver, two nights at the Quality Resort Chateau Canmore in Banff, a Banff attraction pack and $1,000 spending money.
