Norwegian Cruise Line have announced the introduction of another first-at-sea with their all-new dining and entertainment experience, The Illusionarium.
Passengers will be surrounded by antique spell books in a steampunk-themed room as they await their entry into the portal of The Illusionarium where they will be transported to mystical places via a 30' diameter video dome.
Offering 12 performances per cruise and two shows per night, the experience is the result of a collaboration between Norwegian's entertainment team, Broadway director/choreographer Patricia Wilcox, Tony Award winning scenic designer David Gallo and magician Jeff Hobson.
"The Illusionarium will be an experience unlike anything at sea today and take adults and children alike on a journey into the mystical world of magic," Norwegian Cruise Line CEO Kevin Sheehan said.
