Dealing with indecisive friends or still waiting on the boss to approve your holiday leave? Well no problems, says airberlin, with the introduction of its new 72-hour fare guarantee.

Announced this week, the carrier will allow travellers to book their flight the following day at the same price, giving them 72 hours to think before finalising their travel plans.

To utilise the 72-hour offer travellers and agents simply tick the box marked ‘guarantee the fare’ on airberlin.com.

The service costs up to ten euros per person on short and medium-haul flights and 25 euros on long-haul routes.

If travellers decide to take the flight, no further action is needed, but if plans change, simply cancel the booking online via “My Cockpit” and then receive a confirmation of cancellation and are charged the above-mentioned fees for the 72-hour fare guarantee.
