As Paris Saint-Germain football team kicks off its first visit to Asia, Emirates official jersey sponsor of the team is proud to reveal the club’s livery for the first time on an EK aircraft.
The aircraft which features Paris Saint-Germain’s recognisable blue and red logo especially its distinctive Eiffel tower will take the players to their first stop on their Asia Summer Tour: Hong Kong.
“Emirates commitment to Paris Saint-Germain goes back to 2005 and beyond the naming on the team’s jersey. The club’s growing international exposure fits perfectly with Emirates expanding worldwide network. This partnership thus represents a perfect combination of two global brands able to unite and engage worldwide fans,” said Boutros Boutros, Emirates Divisional Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications. He also added “We are very proud to present this unique aircraft with the Paris Saint-Germain branding. It demonstrates once again the strong relationship between our two brands.”
“Paris Saint-Germain is proud to have been wearing the Emirates brand on its jersey since 2006 and to continue to do so for the next five seasons. Today, for the Club’s first Asian tour, we are honoured that this Emirates aircraft features on its livery the Paris Saint-Germain brand and offers our players and staff the best possible travelling conditions.” said Jean-Claude Blanc, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Paris Saint-Germain.
For Paris Saint-Germain this Asian Tour will be the occasion to meet its numerous Chinese fans. After a four day training camp in Hong Kong, the team will meet up with the Hong Kong-based club Kitchee on July 29th for an exhibition match at the Hong-Kong Stadium.
