SIA, JetBlue set on codeshare

 

Singapore Airlines and JetBlue Airways have applied with US Department of Transportation to enter a codeshare agreement.

According to the proposed codeshare, Singapore Airlines would have access to 16 destinations in the US while JetBlue would have access to 5 new cities in Europe and Asia.

JetBlue president Robin Hayes said that JetBlue customers would now have access to many more routes beyond what was available in the USA.

“Singapore Airlines is a world-class airline renowned for its superior customer service and offering,” Mr Hayes said.

“By expanding our partnership, JetBlue customers will now have access to many more destinations around the globe, enjoying the ultimate service and comfort throughout their entire journey,

“This is another first-rate airline partner for JetBlue in a short time, which truly reaffirms our growing status among airlines globally.”

JetBlue and Singapore Airlines have been interline partners since 2011.
