Singapore Airlines and JetBlue Airways have applied with US Department of Transportation to enter a codeshare agreement.
According to the proposed codeshare, Singapore Airlines would have access to 16 destinations in the US while JetBlue would have access to 5 new cities in Europe and Asia.
JetBlue president Robin Hayes said that JetBlue customers would now have access to many more routes beyond what was available in the USA.

JetBlue and Singapore Airlines have been interline partners since 2011.
