United Airlines flying high on Asian skies

 

The first new route will depart San Francisco everyday at 1:50 p.m. and arrive in Taipei at 6:30 p.m.

The next day. for the return, it will depart Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at 11:10 a.m and arrive at San at 7:30 a.m. on the same day.

Edwin Lee, mayor of San Francisco declared that the flight will further increase the international business between San Francisco bay area and Asian community.

The other new route is a daily flight between Houston and Tokyo on Sunday.

Beginning Sunday, flight 1 will depart Bush Intercontinental at 9 a.m. and arrive at Tokyo's Narita International Airport at 12:35 p.m. the next day.

The return flight 2 will depart Tokyo at 6:55 p.m. and arrive in Houston at 4:55 p.m. the same day.

Houston is located strategically in the middle of the Americas and it is a short gateway to Latin America.

This additional flight to Japan's capital is timed to provide passengers with connections to and from many cities across the region.

The United Airlines also signals that it will introduce a new nonstop flight service between San Francisco and Chengdu on June 9, 2014.

This new route will be the first by a U.S. Airline from the United States to Chinese mainland aside from  Shanghai and Beijing.
