Growing its global footprint, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced a new Northern China property scheduled to open in three years.

“The addition of Taiyuan allows us to continue building synergies in the region, particularly in Northern China.”

According to the company, Taiyuan is rich in cultural, historical and natural attractions with future developments already in the pipeline.

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts already has properties in Beijing, Kunshan and Shanghai and has new properties set to open in Nanjing (2012) and Sanya (2013).
