Holland America Line’s revered Culinary Council is tempting guests by introducing new signature dishes and desserts that showcase their unique skills and expertise across 15 of the Line’s ships.
The Culinary Council chefs are made up of six celebrity and Michelin-starred chefs from around the world including Council Chairman and Holland America Line Master Chef Rudi Sodamin, along with renowned international chefs Jonnie Boer, David Burke, Marcus Samuelsson, Jacques Torres and Charlie Trotter.
Holland America Line executive vice president Mr Richard Meadows said that their Culinary Council is a ‘dream team’ of chefs and the tantalising dishes they have shared are personal expressions of their cultural heritage and passion for the culinary arts.
“We continually strive to provide our guests with exclusive experiences, and offering them the chance to enjoy the delights of these celebrated chefs during their cruise is an incredible opportunity,” Mr Meadows said.
To give you a taste of what can be expected master chef Rudi Sodamin, Holland America Line executive chef, created a seared Cajun tuna steak with plum confit and horseradish Rosti potatoes as well as veal chop with creamy Pocini sauce served with baby vegetables and homemade spatzle.
Mr Sodamin said when the chefs first joined the Culinary Council it was their vision to introduce unique dishes of new exotic flavors to the palates of their guests.“All of the chefs developed outstanding dishes that our guests are going to be talking about long after their cruise is over.” Mr Sodamin said.
