BA blunder distresses passengers

Halloween came early for passengers flying from England to Hong Kong on British Airways last week, receiving the scare to last a life time after the pilot accidently hit the, we are going to crash button.

The error left 275 passengers flying over the North Sea terrified when a programmed voice announced, “this is an emergency announcement. We may shortly need to make an emergency landing on water”, The Sun reported.

“People were terrified we all thought we were going to die. They said the pilot hit the wrong button because they were so close together,” passenger Michelle Lord said.

British Airways staff settled the crowd, running up and down aisles explaining the mistake.

The airline has apologised to passengers for the “undue distress”.
